1.1 Second Nature Swimming will perform the Services using all reasonable care and skill and in an efficient and proper manner consistent with the standards expected of the ASA Code of Conduct and Company protocols and procedures for good client management, delivery quality and administration practices.

2. Safeguarding & Protection

2.1 Second Nature Swimming holds all relevant Protection and Safeguarding approvals. – These are DBS clearances, attendance to regular safeguarding and protection courses run by the lnstitute of Swimming {loS)

2.2 Second Nature Swimming Ltd has full Business lnsurance with liability cover through Howdens and all individual swimming instructors have Instructor lnsurance with liability coverage through the lnstitute of Swimming (loS).

3.Equality, Diversity and Inclusion

3.1 Second Nature Swimming are inclusive of all peoples who want to participate in swimming irrespective of their race, gender, disability, age, sexual orientation and faith and ability.

3.2 This code of conduct includes Second Nature Swimming’s commitment to equality, diversity and inclusion in swimming by not tolerating any of the following:

a. Discrimination on the grounds set out in clause 3.1

b. Harassment

c. Bullying

d. Abusive or insensitive language

e. Inappropriate behaviour detrimental to any individual or groups of individuals

3.3. All misconducts shall be reported to the appropriate authorities set out in the ‘Wavepower Policy Document’ which the ASA Governing Body of Swimming has published for safeguarding and protection.

4. Payment

4.1 Payments must be made before the client attends a swimming session.

4.2 The payment confirms the date and time of the lesson.

4.3 All classes are valid for 9 months from the date of purchase. 

4.4 No refunds will be given for any adult or child lessons however lessons can be re-scheduled.

5. Booking

5.1 lf the desired time or day is unavailable for the client’s booking, a waiting list is compiled to account for future growth.

5.2 The waiting list will work fairly by informing the client who enquired first and then on to the next client, and so on.

6. Rescheduling Policy

Due to the high demand of swimming tuition, this is the Rescheduling policy:

6.1  All classes are valid for 9 months from the date of purchase. All classes are non-refundable but can be transferred either to a different date and time (subject to availability) and/or a different person. – In this case we ask you to contact us to organise accordingly.

6.2 Any amendments to your booking (including any rescheduling) need to be made to your booking outside of the 72 hour Notice Period of your class commencing. Unfortunately we will not be able to make any amendments if it falls inside of the 72 hour notice period.

7. Data Protection Act

7.1 The privacy of Second Nature Swimming Clients is strict.- PersonaI information is collected from clients via the Booking Form and/or email correspondence. The information that is collected may relate to physical health or conditions for the sole purpose of providing a safe, secure swimming session(s).

7.2. Other information that is collected is for the sole use of administrative duties in order to keep clients informed of payment records, updates and offers from Second Nature Swimming.

7.3 All data that is collected from clients is secured and stored in a locked folder with a password.

7.4. No data from any Second Nature Swimming client shall be shared with anyone unless it is appropriate and Second Nature Swimming receives written and signed consent from the specified client.

8. Complaints

8.1. Any complaints need to be made directly to the office via email in a respectful and formal manner.

8.2. Complaints will be addressed and taken seriously.
